Born and raised in the beautiful state of Alabama, I made the bold move to Richmond, Virginia, where I earned my Bachelor of Science at the prestigious University of Richmond. This stunning city stole my heart, and I’m so grateful to call it home.
As a young adult, I was thrown into the deep end, learning to navigate the world of adulthood – paying bills, rent, working, and, of course, cooking for myself. The thing is, I had no clue how to cook to save my life! But that’s exactly what sparked my passion for healthy eating.
At first, whipping up healthy dishes that actually tasted amazing seemed like an impossible feat. But, I love a good challenge! I found myself on a mission to recreate my favorite comfort foods into nutritious, gut-friendly versions. And why, you ask? Well, it was a necessity – my sensitive tummy was not having it with all the questionable food choices I was making!
Now, I’m obsessed with finding creative ways to make healthy food that’s not only good for me but also a delight to my taste buds. And, I’m thrilled to share my journey with you!
The moment this blog, Three Bites of Fun, came to life, it was like a dream come true! You see, I was determined to share recipes that were not only delicious but also healthy, diet-friendly, and food-sensitivity-friendly. When I’m not busy with cooking and writing for this blog, you can find me pursuing my passions – singing, playing an instrument, or dancing the tango. I also love to stay active, whether that’s at the gym, swimming laps, or taking a serene walk. And, of course, I cherish my quiet moments, whether that’s treating myself to a spa day or simply relaxing at home.
As a deeply spiritual person, I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of the universe, and astrology has become a fascinating hobby of mine. I love sharing my knowledge with friends and loved ones, and I’m always eager to learn more.
